Molly drives this car around for her job with the duck race. For those native to Idaho Falls, the Duck Race is a big fundraiser event held every year at the river. You "purchase" a rubber duck and are given a number, or some sort of identification as to which duck is yours. All of the ducks are released into the river for a big race, and the winner takes home this car! There are tons of other prizes too, like 1000 dollar cards to Sam's Club, and all sorts of other miscellaneous items. Pretty cool, huh? So get on it! Go get YOUR duck today! You may just become the proud owner of this car...

National History Day Project
Hey guys, it's Henry here. I have just recently finished my History Day project on Harriet Beecher Stowe, and Uncle Tom's Cabin. This has been a very lengthy project. It is a grade for my G.A.T.E./History class. First, I collected 400 facts on notecards about her. I made a process paper and an annotated bibliography, and then made this project. It looks like a giant book. We started out with 5 pieces of plywood that were 5 ft. tall. We wallpapered the inside pages, and for the covers we used a cloth similar to leather. For the title, we had Jackie Merrill use her Vinyl Lettering machine to cut it out. Everything on the project had to be backed with colored paper, and that took a while. On Friday the 27th, I take it to be judged at Rocky Mountain Middle School. If I get 1st or 2nd in my group, I move on to State. If I win first or second in my category there, I take it to Nationals in Washington D.C. I'm glad it is almost all over with!
