Labor Day

Every year over Labor Day, we go up to the cabin and chop down trees for the wood-burning stove. Dale had 5 of his 6 sons up this year! Clayton, you were missed! It was a blast. Tyler took the pictures so he's not in any of them. There were also lots of other relatives up there helping. During the same weekend we had a Thompson reunion. The cabin was filled to the limit!

What fun pictures! It makes me miss when we used to do that. What a fun time and place to spend with family.

Wow, look at those boys work. I especially like the one of the 3 boys carrying the log. Great shot Tyler!

I remember doing this last year; it was really fun. I still can't believe no one got beaned by a log though. Last year, at least, it seemed like logs were flying out of the woods right and left. There must be some forest guardian angels or something!
